De-Waxed Shellac Sanding Sealer for Interior Wood
Zinsser® Bulls Eye® SealCoat® Universal Sanding Sealer is a 100% de-waxed shellac-based sealer for preparing new or previously finished interior wood. It penetrates wood pores to seal the surface and sands easily to create a smooth base for subsequent clear finishes.
Compatible with Clear Finish Topcoats
The wax-free formula is compatible with oil-based and water-based polyurethane, lacquer, shellac, and other clear finishes. SealCoat can be applied over bare wood or existing finishes and can also be used as a pre-stain sealer and wood conditioner.
Fast-Drying Sealer for Interior Woodwork
SealCoat dries in minutes and can be recoated in less than one hour. It is recommended for doors, trim, baseboards, paneling, wainscoting, cabinets, shelves, furniture, interior shutters, stairs, and spindles, and may also be used on wood turnings, wicker, and plaster. It is not recommended as a sealer for exterior surfaces.
