Rust-Oleum® EpoxyShield® Clear Finish Floor Coating Kit is a two-part, amine-cured epoxy designed for properly prepared concrete floors in enclosed garages. The clear high-gloss coating provides strong adhesion, hardness, and durability while protecting the finished floor without covering the underlying color or coating.
The cured coating provides resistance to salt, oil, gasoline, water, abrasion, and other harsh chemicals encountered on garage floors. It also resists hot tire pickup and can accept vehicle traffic after 3 days.
One kit covers approximately 250 sq. ft. when applied to bare concrete or approximately 500 sq. ft. on painted surfaces. For proper coating thickness, Rust-Oleum recommends applying the coating in multiple directions during application.
The kit includes a two-part Burst Pouch for mixing the epoxy components, an anti-skid additive, stir stick, and instructions. The coating has low odor, contains less than 75 g/L VOC, and is intended only for enclosed garages that are not exposed to direct sunlight.
