Professional Drywall and Panel Adhesive
OSI® F38 Drywall and Panel Adhesive is a professional-grade, latex-based construction adhesive for interior drywall, panel, and general construction applications. Its fast strength development and high shear strength provide a permanent bond while the low-odor, non-flammable formula is suitable for interior and in-plant construction.
Drywall Installation on Wood, Metal and Masonry
F38 is designed for bonding gypsum board to wood or metal studs, laminating gypsum board to gypsum board, and attaching gypsum board to concrete or block walls. When used as directed with approved mechanical fasteners, the adhesive can reduce the number of fasteners required, bridge minor framing gaps, and help reduce sound transmission.
Compatible Building Materials
The adhesive bonds drywall, paneling, wood trim, plywood, hardboard, OSB, foam board, countertops, and similar building materials. It is suitable for new residential and commercial construction as well as remodeling, renovation, manufactured housing, and other interior projects involving drywall or gypsum products.
Application and Installation Requirements
Jobsite conditions should be maintained at or above 55°F during installation and finishing, and the adhesive should fully cure before joint compound is applied. F38 should not be used on cement board, for permanent water immersion, between two non-porous surfaces, or where temperatures will exceed 170°F.
