Alpha® Twincur GEM-V Polishing Pads are resin-bond edge polishing wheels for straight and beveled edges on granite, engineered stone and quartz surfaces, marble, limestone, concrete, crystallized glass, porcelain slabs, and sintered slabs. Cosentino® recommends the system for polishing its Dekton® collections, giving fabricators one progressive system for a broad range of hard surfaces.
The GEM-V Series uses Hook & Loop backing for fast wheel changes without wrenches. Available in 5" and 6" diameters, the polishing pads attach to compatible Hook & Loop backed Snail Lock adapters and fit many popular single-head and multiple-head automatic edge polishing machines.
The complete sequence includes 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit abrasive polishing discs in both diameters. This range supports progressive edge refinement and polishing without switching to a material-specific wheel system. Every 5" and 6" GEM-V wheel has a maximum operating speed of 2,000 RPM.
The Tsuya wheel completes the GEM-V sequence by producing a high, monument-quality polish. It is formulated to finish difficult materials, including Absolute Black granite, and is available in 5" and 6" Hook & Loop configurations.
