Product Information
Alpha® EZ Thin Panel T-Cutters are manual tile cutters for scoring and snapping smooth-surface thin porcelain tile and panels. Compatible materials include StonePeak, SlimLite™, Laminam®, and other thin porcelain products with a solid, continuous body. The manual design does not require electricity and is available in 24" and 60" cutting configurations.
Guide rollers travel along a straight, clean panel edge while a scaled aluminum bar positions the cutting head at the required width. This configuration supports accurate straight and parallel scores without setting up a powered tile cutter. The scoring head is pulled across the surface with light, consistent pressure in one continuous motion.
An integrated reservoir supplies lubricant to the scoring wheel during operation. Alpha recommends filling the reservoir with EZ Cutter Oil and confirming that oil reaches the cutting head before scoring. Once scored, the thin panel can be snapped manually or with Alpha EZ Glass Running Pliers. Cutter oil and running pliers are separate accessories.
These score-and-snap tile cutters are intended for smooth thin porcelain and are not recommended for natural stone or textured panel surfaces. For textured thin porcelain tile and panels, Alpha recommends using its Spike Ruler with compatible powered cutting equipment. Sharp edges left after snapping can be refined with an appropriate diamond hand pad.

The guide rollers follow the panel edge while the cutting head scores the surface at the selected width. After scoring, the panel is snapped manually or with compatible running pliers.
No. Alpha specifies the T-Cutters for smooth surfaces. For textured thin porcelain, Alpha recommends using a Spike Ruler with compatible powered cutting equipment.
No. The T-Cutters are manually operated and do not require electrical power.
Yes. Guide rollers follow a straight panel edge while the scaled bar and adjustable cutting head set the width of the parallel score.
Yes. Alpha recommends filling the integrated reservoir with EZ Cutter Oil and confirming that oil reaches the cutting head before scoring.
Not always. The panel can be snapped manually, but Alpha EZ Glass Running Pliers provide another controlled breaking method. Alpha recommends using two running pliers on long panels to help reduce the risk of damage. The pliers are sold separately.
