Product Information
Alpha® Advantage Lippage Removal Discs are aggressive 3-1/2" metal-bond diamond grinding discs for the first stage of stone floor restoration. They grind down raised edges and uneven areas to create a flat surface for subsequent honing and polishing steps.
Each rigid grinding disc combines metal-bonded diamond pellets with a resin compound containing sub-abrasive grit. The resin helps prevent pellet loss and stone chipping, while the sub-abrasive keeps the metal pellets sharp for consistent grinding performance.
The discs are designed for wet grinding and feature hook-and-loop backing for attachment to the Alpha AFP-300’s 17" driver pad. A minimum of three discs of the same grit is required for operation, while up to six can be installed for the best results.
The 60-grit disc provides the coarser grinding step, while the 150-grit option delivers a finer cut during initial floor preparation. Both grits support lippage removal and surface flattening before progressing to later restoration stages.
