Blanke® AQUA SA is a self-adhesive waterproofing tape designed for quickly and consistently sealing seams in Blanke AQUA-SHIELD waterproofing installations. The adhesive backing simplifies seam treatment without requiring thinset mortar to bond the tape.
Waterproofing for Showers and Wet Areas
AQUA SA is used with the Blanke AQUA-SHIELD system to maintain continuous waterproofing at membrane seams in showers, bathrooms, and other wet areas under ceramic tile and natural stone. It provides a consistent tape thickness across treated seams and allows tile installation to continue without a waiting period.
Two Widths for AQUA-SHIELD Installations
Available in 4" and 6" widths, both AQUA SA rolls measure 98'5" long. The 4" roll provides 32.8 sq. ft. of material, while the 6" roll provides 49.2 sq. ft., allowing the appropriate width to be selected for the waterproofing detail.
