Silicon Carbide Sandpaper Discs for Marble Polishing
Alpha® Sandpaper Discs are silicon carbide sanding and polishing discs with waterproof hook-and-loop backing. Available in 4" and 5" diameters, they are designed for marble, softer natural stone, fabrication, tile work, restoration, and other surface-finishing applications.
Wet or Dry Marble Sanding
The waterproof construction supports wet or dry sanding. When used wet, the discs resist clogging to help extend abrasive life. Suitable materials include marble, travertine, terrazzo, and onyx, along with glass, metal, and wood. The discs can also be used for sanding Bondo, primer, and paint.
Hook-and-Loop Sanding Discs from #80 to #600
The hook-and-loop attachment allows fast disc changes when progressing through multiple sanding and polishing stages. Available U.S. CAMI grits include #80, #120, #240, #320, #400, #500, and #600, along with assorted-grit options. Each selection is supplied in a box of 50 discs.
Backer Pad and Final Polishing Compatibility
Alpha® Sandpaper Discs can be used with compatible Alpha standard backer pads or the GV5000 backer pad. When a higher-gloss finish is required, complete the marble polishing process with an Alpha Felt Wheel and compatible buffing compound.
