Product Information
Miracle Sealants® Mira Matte is a natural stone color enhancer that deepens and enriches the appearance of textured surfaces. It leaves a color-enhanced satin sheen rather than a glossy polished finish, bringing out natural variations and character that can look muted in untreated stone. The result gives compatible stone a richer appearance that remains practical to maintain.
Designed specifically for flamed, sandblasted, split-faced, tumbled, and other textured finishes, Mira Matte is suitable for flamed granite, tumbled marble, cleft-faced slate, flamed limestone, textured cast stone, and similar natural stone. This focused compatibility makes it a practical choice for surfaces where a satin, color-enhanced finish is desired.
For maximum stain repellency, Mira Matte is designed to work with a compatible Miracle penetrating sealer. The penetrating sealer protects within the stone and grout pores, while Mira Matte supplies the visible color enhancement and satin character. It may also be used alone when added color is the priority and maximum stain repellency is not required.
Mira Matte allows moisture vapor to escape while providing resistance to water, stains, scuffs, and weather. Its UV-transparent, non-yellowing performance supports interior and exterior applications, helping the enhanced appearance remain consistent as the treated surface is exposed to foot traffic and outdoor conditions.

Common Questions
Mira Matte enriches the stone's natural color and produces what the manufacturer describes as a color-enhanced satin sheen. It is not described as a completely flat matte finish or a high-gloss coating. Because results vary by material, test several inconspicuous areas before treating the entire surface.
Rust-Oleum recommends Mira Matte for flamed granite, tumbled marble, cleft-faced slate, flamed limestone, textured cast stone, and other textured natural stone. It is designed for flamed, sandblasted, split-faced, tumbled, and similarly textured finishes rather than smooth polished surfaces.
No. The manufacturer specifically states that polish enhancement is not recommended. Mira Matte is formulated for textured finishes, so customers seeking enhancement on polished stone should choose a product that Miracle Sealants identifies as compatible with that finish rather than assuming Mira Matte will perform correctly.
For maximum stain repellency, Miracle Sealants recommends using Mira Matte with one of its compatible penetrating sealers. It may be used alone when the goal is added color and maximum stain repellency is not required. Mira Matte is a color enhancer and should not automatically be treated as a replacement for an impregnator.
Yes. Mira Matte is approved for interior and exterior applications. It allows moisture vapor to escape while providing a scuff- and weather-resistant surface, and its UV-transparent, non-yellowing formulation helps preserve the enhanced satin appearance during outdoor exposure.
The surface must be completely dry and free of unwanted coatings, dirt, mineral deposits, efflorescence, rust, and grime. Use Mira Matte undiluted with a natural-fiber brush or terry-cloth towel; pump spraying is limited to exterior use. Prevent puddles and overlap marks, provide good ventilation, and wear chemical-resistant gloves.
One quart covers approximately 50 to 200 square feet. Actual coverage varies with surface density, porosity, texture, absorption, weather, dwell time, and application method, so deeply textured or highly absorbent stone may require more product than smoother or denser material.
Mira Matte becomes dry to the touch in approximately two to four hours and can then receive normal foot traffic. Additional applications can be made after the previous coat has dried for about one to two hours. Keep the surface dry and free from staining materials for 72 hours for optimal curing.
