About This Product

EPA-Registered Mold Control for Professional Remediation

Concrobium® Mold Control® Pro is a ready-to-use, EPA-registered mold cleaner for remediation and prevention on hard and fabric surfaces. It eliminates existing mold, controls musty odors, and helps prevent regrowth in homes, businesses, institutions, vehicles, and restoration environments.

Bleach-Free Mold and Mildew Cleaner

The colorless and odorless formula contains no bleach, ammonia, alcohol, acids, or VOCs. It is suitable for drywall, lumber, plaster, concrete, siding, shingles, composite decking, metal, marble, tile, grout, fabric, upholstery, furniture, clothing, and other compatible surfaces.

Invisible Barrier Against Mold Regrowth

As Mold Control Pro dries, it forms an invisible antimicrobial barrier that encapsulates and physically crushes mold spores. The barrier remains on the treated surface to inhibit mold growth and provide continuing protection against regrowth.

Professional Mold Remover for Restoration Projects

Use Mold Control Pro during mold remediation following flooding or leaks, during renovation projects, or as a preventative treatment for new building materials. The solution can be applied by cloth, hand sprayer, electric or compression sprayer, cold fogger, brush, roller, or immersion. Available 1- and 5-gallon containers support professional and large-area applications.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Concrobium Mold Control Pro eliminate mold?

As the solution dries, it forms an invisible antimicrobial barrier that encapsulates and physically crushes mold spores. The barrier remains on the treated surface to help prevent future mold growth.

Does Mold Control Pro contain bleach or harsh chemicals?

The formula contains no bleach, ammonia, alcohol, acids, or VOCs.

What surfaces can Concrobium Mold Control Pro be used on?

It is suitable for drywall, lumber, plaster, concrete, siding, shingles, composite decking, metal, marble, tile, grout, fabric, upholstery, furniture, clothing, and other compatible surfaces. Test a small, inconspicuous area when surface compatibility is uncertain.

Does Concrobium Mold Control Pro need to be diluted?

No. Mold Control Pro is ready to use and should not be diluted. Remove heavy soil, apply the solution until the surface is evenly wet, and allow the treated area to dry completely.

Can Mold Control Pro be used after flooding or water damage?

Yes. It can be incorporated into mold remediation and water-damage restoration projects. Correct the source of the moisture, remove excess water, and thoroughly dry affected surfaces before treatment.

Can it be used as a preventative treatment?

Yes. Mold Control Pro can be applied to restored surfaces and new building materials such as drywall and lumber to help prevent future mold growth.

Can Concrobium Mold Control Pro be applied with a cold fogger?

Yes. Cold fogging is an approved application method for treating large or difficult-to-reach areas. Follow the product label and the manufacturer’s fogger instructions. Mold remediation areas larger than 30 square feet require special procedures and trained individuals.

Will Mold Control Pro leave a visible residue or odor?

The solution is colorless and odorless and normally dries to an invisible barrier. Overapplication can leave residue, which may be removed with a cloth dampened with Mold Control Pro.

Does Mold Control Pro remove mold stains?

Mold Control Pro eliminates mold but may not whiten residual stains on contact. Reapplying the product and wiping or scrubbing may help, although some discoloration can be irreversible. If another stain-removal method is used, reapply Mold Control Pro as the final protective step.

Is Concrobium Mold Control Pro EPA registered?

Yes. It is registered with the EPA under Registration Number 82552-1.
