Product Information
Alpha® PVA MS 4" Dry Polishing Discs polish marble without the water, slurry, and cleanup associated with wet polishing. The flexible discs work on baseboards, corners, countertop edges, contours, chamfers, bead molding, curved profiles, and other irregular surfaces in the shop or during jobsite touch-ups.
Each polishing disc combines fast-cutting silicon carbide abrasive with a polyvinyl alcohol bond for efficient material removal, consistent performance, and long service life. The color-coded sequence includes 40 Extra Coarse, 80 Coarse, 220 Medium, 400 Fine, and 600 Extra Fine grits, along with an assorted 10-disc pack.
The discs have a 5/8" arbor and operate at speeds up to 12,000 RPM on compatible high-speed grinders. Unlike hook-and-loop polishing pads, PVA MS discs use an arbor-mounted configuration designed for high-speed dry polishing and finishing.
The flexible PVA construction follows profiled, curved, rounded, and irregular surfaces where rigid abrasives can be difficult to control. In addition to marble, the discs can finish ceramic, wood, and metal edges, polish stainless steel to a mirror-like finish, and remove paint without easily clogging.
