About This Product

5" Wet/Dry Stone Cutters

The Alpha® ESC-125 and ESC-225 are handheld electric stone cutters for wet or dry cutting of granite, quartz surfaces, marble, limestone, concrete, and sintered slabs. Each model combines a 1200W motor, 12,000 RPM no-load speed, and 5" disc capacity with a maximum cutting depth of 1-5/8". Their portable design provides a handheld tile saw alternative for controlled fabrication and jobsite cutting where a stationary saw is impractical.

Wet Stone Cutter with HEPA Dust Control

For wet cutting, an aluminum manifold directs water from the rear of the tool toward the cutting edge to cool the blade and clear slurry from the cutting line. The included 15' hybrid water hose resists kinking and memory and connects through a quick-connect adapter. For dry stone cutter applications, the integrated dust cover redirects cutting dust toward a connected HEPA vacuum, which is sold separately.

Stable Depth and Guide Control

A side-mounted clamping lever locks the selected cutting depth for stable step cuts, 3cm sink cutouts, countertop trimming, and reinforcement grooves. The base plate accommodates guides in multiple configurations, while the reversible TT Ruler Guide can reference the material edge or follow a straightedge. Compatible curve-cutting blades can also be used for sink openings and other shaped cuts.

110V and 220V Stone Cutter Models

The ESC-125 operates at 110V and 11.2A with a Type A plug, while the ESC-225 operates at 220V and 5.5A with a Type C plug. Both stone cutters include a dust cover, reversible ruler guide, water hose assembly, quick-connect adapter, side handle, water valve assembly, GFCI, felt strips, and an EasyOn-EasyOff Sleeve that bundles the water hose and power cord to reduce drag during longer cuts.
