Product Information
Alpha® DW Style Diamond Grinding Wheels provide aggressive grinding and shaping performance on granite, engineered stone, and other hard materials. Their durable cutting action supports demanding fabrication work where efficient stock removal and consistent shaping are required.
The turbo design removes material quickly when profiling edges, smoothing rough surfaces, refining inside sinkhole cuts, preparing surfaces for lamination, and performing heavy grinding or beveling work. These grinding and shaping wheels perform especially well on hard granite, including red granite.
Each grinder wheel has a 5/8"-11 thread for compatible high-speed angle grinders and can be operated wet or dry. Choose a 4" or 6" diameter with Coarse or Medium grit to match the required cutting speed, material removal, and shaping control.

Common Questions
The wheels are formulated for granite, engineered stone, and other hard materials. They perform especially well on hard granite, including red granite, but are not recommended for marble or softer stone.
Yes. Alpha DW Style Grinding Wheels can be used for wet or dry grinding with compatible equipment.
They are used for profiling edges, shaping bevels, smoothing inside sinkhole cuts, leveling rough surfaces, preparing material for lamination, and performing heavy stock removal.
The grinding wheels are available in 4" and 6" diameters with Coarse and Medium grit options. Coarse wheels provide more aggressive grinding, while Medium wheels offer slower material removal and greater shaping control.
The wheels have a 5/8"-11 thread for compatible high-speed angle grinders. Alpha does not recommend using them on low-speed polishers because the slower speed may cause uneven wheel wear.
The 4" wheels have a maximum operating speed of 14,500 RPM, while the 6" wheels have a maximum operating speed of 10,100 RPM. Never exceed the rating of the selected wheel.
