Product Information
The Alpha® AIR-680UW is a high-performance pneumatic polisher for underwater polishing and grinding. Its 27 ft flexible vacuum hose provides working range across most pool sizes, making the tool suitable as a pneumatic buffer for submerged plaster surfaces. It can also operate without the vacuum hose for conventional wet polishing.
The central water-feed system supplies water regardless of tool position to support consistent plaster polishing. The AIR-680UW operates at a maximum no-load speed of 4,000 RPM, consumes 15 CFM at 85 PSI, and uses a 5/8"-11 spindle for compatible polishing, grinding, drilling, and profiling accessories.
The tool includes 15 ft air and water supply hoses, a 30 ft air hose, and the 27 ft flexible vacuum hose. Its hybrid air and water hoses remain flexible from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C), providing an extended working range across varying jobsite conditions.
The AIR-680UW includes a 7" MP758HL rotary backer pad plus 7" #50 and #100 PlasterKing pads. A reversible side handle and C-handle provide additional control, while the included wrench assists with accessory removal. An accessible oil port supports routine pneumatic tool maintenance.
