The Nuheat® Cable Kit combines a free-form Nuheat heat cable, Nuheat Home Thermostat, and floor sensing probe into one complete electric floor heating package. The cable layout can be adjusted on site using cable guides, allowing installers to match the heated area more closely than a fixed-size mat system and provide approximately 12–15 W/ft² based on cable spacing.
Flexible Heat Cable for Custom Room Layouts
The Nuheat Cable system is designed for bathrooms, kitchens, and other spaces where the heated area may include corners, fixtures, cabinets, or irregular dimensions. The free-form cable can be routed around these areas while maintaining the required spacing, making it useful for custom radiant heating layouts where standard rectangular heating mats may not provide the right coverage.
Radiant Heating for Multiple Flooring Types
Nuheat Cable provides radiant floor heating beneath tile, stone, laminate, engineered wood, and luxury vinyl flooring. The system heats the finished floor surface from below and is available in multiple cable sizes for heated areas from 8 ft² to 240 ft².
120V and 240V Electric Floor Heating Options
Cable kits are available in both 120V and 240V configurations to accommodate different project sizes and electrical requirements. Each cable size has its own rated wattage, amperage, resistance, cable length, and coverage area, allowing the system to be selected based on the actual heated square footage and required voltage.
7-Day Programmable Floor Heating Thermostat
The included Nuheat Home Thermostat features a 3.5" color touchscreen with 7-day programmable control for the floor heating system. It supports both floor sensing and ambient air sensing and includes an energy use monitor for viewing heating system energy consumption.
Built-In Class A GFCI Protection
The Home Thermostat is compatible with both 120V and 240V systems and supports a maximum 15A resistive load. It provides up to 1,800W at 120V or 3,600W at 240V and includes built-in Class A GFCI protection with a 5 mA trip level.
Floor Sensing Probe Included
The included floor sensing probe allows the thermostat to monitor floor temperature directly for more precise radiant heating control.
