Product Information
The Alpha® PSC-150 is an industrial-quality 6" pneumatic stone cutter powered by a 2 HP motor with a speed-control governor. The governor regulates air consumption according to the torque required, delivering the power needed to cut 1-1/4" (3cm) stone slabs in a single pass at a no-load speed of 8,500 RPM.
This handheld stone cutter can miter material up to 1-1/4" thick without the setup required by a stationary cutting system. Its air-powered design is also suited to sink-hole cutting and creating grooves for reinforcing rods. For rail-guided work, the optional ASC-6CSM carriage connects the PSC-150 to the Alpha® Guide Rail System for precise miter cuts used in laminated stone fabrication.
The PSC-150 can be operated as a wet or dry stone cutter and accepts cutting discs up to 6" with a 7/8" arbor. It includes an Alpha® Eclipse II 6" blade for granite and engineered stone. Additional Alpha options include the Katana 6" for porcelain panels and slabs, Hot-Rod 4" channel-cutting blades for rodding grooves, and the Libero 5" for marble slabs commonly 3/4" (2cm) thick or less.
Included 15 ft. kink-free air and water hoses improve maneuverability around slabs while reducing hose interference during cutting. The PSC-150 has a manufacturer-rated 2,000-hour duty cycle and includes rust inhibitor oil, flanges, handles, wrenches, mufflers, a reduced-flow air inlet fitting, and other operating accessories.

Common Questions
The PSC-150 can cut 1-1/4" (3cm) stone slabs in a single pass.
Yes. The PSC-150 can miter material up to 1-1/4" (3cm) thick. An optional ASC-6CSM carriage connects the cutter to the Alpha Guide Rail System for controlled, rail-guided miter cutting.
Yes. The PSC-150 is designed for both wet and dry stone-cutting applications when equipped with an appropriate blade.
The cutter operates at 90 PSI (6.2 Bar). Air consumption ranges from 32 CFM at 1 HP to a maximum of 48 CFM at 2 HP.
The cutter includes an Alpha Eclipse II 6" turbo diamond blade recommended for cutting granite and engineered stone. The tool uses a 7/8" arbor and operates at a maximum no-load speed of 8,500 RPM.
Alpha identifies the Katana 6" for porcelain panels and slabs, compatible Hot-Rod 4" blades for cutting rodding channels, and the Libero 5" for marble applications. Confirm the selected blade's arbor, material compatibility, and operating requirements before use.
Yes. The PSC-150 can use compatible Hot-Rod channel-cutting blades to create grooves sized for reinforcing rods. Available 4" Hot-Rod configurations include channels for 1/8" and 1/4" rods.
The PSC-150 includes three flanges, two mounting bolts, a side handle, three wrenches, 15 ft. air and water hoses, an 8 oz. bottle of rust inhibitor oil, an Eclipse II 6" blade, two mufflers, a reduced-flow air inlet fitting, and two hook-and-loop straps.
