Bridge Tile Saws

A bridge tile saw uses a powered cutting head that travels along an overhead bridge or rail while the material remains supported on the saw table. A plunge cut lowers the cutting blade into the material rather than beginning the cut from an outside edge. On bridge saws equipped with plunge capability, this can be useful for certain inside cuts, openings, notches, and other applications where the cut does not extend across the entire tile.

Some bridge tile saws provide adjustable cutting heads or other mechanisms that allow the blade to cut at an angle for miter or bevel cuts. Available angles and adjustment methods vary by machine, so check the specific saw's cutting capabilities when miter cutting is required.

Many bridge tile saws use a water delivery system to help manage diamond blade heat and airborne dust during cutting. Water requirements vary by machine and blade, so the saw's intended cutting method and manufacturer specifications should be followed when selecting and operating the equipment.
