Product Information
Alpha® Twincur Final Polish discs complete the polishing process on square and beveled granite edges using compatible automatic edge polishing machines. Used after the progressive abrasive or diamond polishing disc sequence, they produce a super-glossy final finish with Black, White, and Green options for different stone colors and water-flow requirements.
Black Final Polish is recommended for dark granite, while White Final Polish is recommended for light granite. Both use the traditional final polishing method with a low volume of water. Green Final Polish works across granite colors and performs with significantly higher water volume, allowing normal machine water flow when a reduced flow is difficult to control.
Unlike the diamond polishing wheels used during earlier grit stages, each final polishing disc combines tin oxide and natural fibers in a heat-compressed construction. This composition provides fast, consistent polishing results, long service life, and a highly reflective granite edge finish.
Each Twincur Final Polish disc measures 4", uses an SFAT Snail Lock connection, and has a maximum operating speed of 1,800 RPM. The discs fit most popular automatic edge polishing machines, including compatible multiple-head equipment used for production granite fabrication.
Common Questions
Black is recommended for dark granite, while White is recommended for light granite. Both use a low volume of water. Green works across granite colors and is designed for significantly higher water volume, allowing normal machine water flow.
The discs are designed specifically for final polishing of granite edges.
Yes. The discs are designed to produce a final polish on both square and beveled granite edges.
They combine tin oxide and natural fibers in a heat-compressed construction designed to produce fast, consistent, and super-glossy polishing results.
No. Twincur Final Polish uses heat-compressed tin oxide and natural fibers rather than diamond abrasive. It serves as the final finishing step after compatible abrasive or diamond polishing discs have completed the progressive polishing sequence.
Each disc has a 4" diameter and uses an SFAT Snail Lock connection for compatible automatic edge polishing machines.
The Black, White, and Green 4" Twincur Final Polish discs have a maximum operating speed of 1,800 RPM.
Choose Green Final Polish when normal or higher machine water flow is preferred. Black and White require the traditional low-water final polishing method.
Yes. They fit compatible multiple-head machines and most popular automatic edge polishing equipment.
