Product Information
The Alpha® Tuck Point Blade is a 4" segmented diamond cutting blade designed for removing deteriorated mortar during brick re-pointing and flash installation. Its 6.0mm thickness creates the wide cutting path required for tuck pointing while delivering aggressive performance in abrasive masonry mortar.
This tuck pointing blade uses a very hard bond formulated to resist rapid wear when cutting abrasive brick mortar. The segmented construction provides aggressive cutting and long service life for masons, restoration contractors, and brick re-pointers performing repeated mortar removal.
The tuck point diamond blade can be used wet or dry and fits compatible 4", 4-1/2", and 7" grinders. Its arbor configuration supports 7/8", 20mm, and 5/8" connections, and the blade has a maximum operating speed of 14,500 RPM.
For dry mortar removal, the blade can be paired with the Alpha Ecoguard Type W5 and a compatible vacuum. Alpha describes this combination as a virtually dust-free tuck pointing setup that collects dust close to the cutting area.
