Product Information
wedi® S-DRY™ is a sheet waterproofing membrane for wall and floor surfaces in wedi S-DRY Shower Systems and over mortar bed installations. The membrane provides a waterproof, mold-resistant surface and can extend beyond the shower to create a continuous waterproof transition into the surrounding bathroom.
S-DRY Membrane can be used for waterproofing and crack isolation in tiled installations. When installed with wedi® S-DRY™ SEAL as required, the membrane is also suitable for steam room applications, allowing the S-DRY system to address demanding wet-area installations beyond standard residential showers.
The flexible sheet membrane can be cut and fitted to walls, floors, mortar beds, and other shower surfaces requiring waterproofing. wedi® PRO-SET™ is used to bond the membrane to the substrate, allowing installers to adapt the membrane to the dimensions and layout of the installation.
Membrane seams and overlaps are completed with wedi® S-DRY™ Tape and actively bonded and waterproofed with wedi® S-DRY™ SEAL. This creates continuous waterproof protection across adjoining sheets and transitions throughout the S-DRY assembly.
S-DRY Membrane is available in a 50" × 25' roll covering 104 sq. ft. and an 80" × 16' XL roll covering 106 sq. ft. According to wedi, an average S-DRY shower installation uses one 50" × 25' roll.
