Pre-Sloped Waterproof Shower Floor Base
wedi® Fundo® Shower Bases provide a prefabricated, consistent slope to an integrated point drain for tiled shower floors. The bases are internally waterproof and mold-resistant, eliminating the need to create a traditional mortar bed slope.
Center and Off-Center Drain Configurations
Square and rectangular bases are available in multiple sizes with center or off-center drain locations. Each base can be cut on site to fit custom shower dimensions while maintaining compatibility with wedi Fundo® Shower Curbs.
Reinforced Surface for Tile Installation
The closed-cell extruded polystyrene foam core is covered on both sides with fiberglass mesh embedded in a cement resin coating. This reinforced surface provides tile backing strength and a textured surface for mechanical bonding with thin-set mortars suitable for wet areas.
Fundo Click and Seal Drain Connection
Each shower base includes a wedi Fundo® Click and Seal® Drain Kit and Drain Cover Height Adjustment Kit. The drain connects from above to a plumbing waste pipe cut flush with the floor, providing a controlled connection without requiring access from below.
