Recessing Plywood Subfloors for Curbless Showers
The wedi® Curbless Shower Recess Kit is a bracket system for recessing single-layer 23/32" or 3/4" plywood subfloors to install a wedi Fundo® Curbless Shower Base up to 60" × 60".
Solid and Engineered Joist Compatibility
The system can be installed with 2 × 10 solid wood joists spaced 16" on center as well as engineered joists. The included C brackets, joist brackets, and fasteners provide the components required to support the recessed subfloor assembly.
Complete Recess Bracket and Fastener Kit
Each kit includes 30 C brackets, 10 joist brackets, 60 flat head Phillips wood screws, 40 long flat head Phillips self-drilling screws with wings, and 160 short flat head Phillips self-drilling screws with wings.
