Zinsser® Mold Killing Primer is a water-based, EPA-registered fungicidal protective coating designed to paint over and kill existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor-causing bacteria, and other fungal organisms. It also helps cover residual microbiological and fungal stains.
The primer contains an EPA-registered antimicrobial that helps prevent the growth of mold, mildew, and other fungal organisms on the paint film. Once primed, the surface can be finished with any topcoat and is especially suited for use with Zinsser® PERMA-WHITE®.
Mold Killing Primer is designed for non-porous interior and exterior surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Common applications include bathrooms, basements, attics, wall cavities, window frames, baseboards, subfloors, storage areas, and other surfaces where mold and mildew are a concern.
Do not use Mold Killing Primer on floors, decks, or surfaces subject to immersion or prolonged water contact. It is also not recommended for new or unpainted aluminum, metal, or vinyl siding.
