Rust-Inhibitive Primer for Automotive Surfaces
Rust-Oleum® Stops Rust® Automobile Primer provides a durable, rust-inhibitive base for automotive lacquers and enamels. It can be applied to bare or lightly rusted surfaces to prepare them for a compatible automotive topcoat.
Fast-Drying and Sandable Finish
The primer dries quickly and can be sanded to prepare the surface for finishing. For maximum protection, Rust-Oleum recommends topcoating with a Stops Rust Enamel. When applying an automotive lacquer, test for compatibility before completing the application.
Custom Spray 5-in-1 Control
The Custom Spray 5-in-1 nozzle provides five spray patterns for greater control over different application areas and project requirements. Each 12 oz. aerosol can covers approximately 10–12 sq. ft. The primer is not intended for galvanized steel.
