Product Information
Alpha® Nichigo G-Tape™ 3045 Series is a single-sided, self-adhering flashing tape constructed with laminated polyethylene cloth and a proprietary acrylic adhesive. Engineered for strong adhesion to rubber, including EPDM, it provides high static shear for seaming rubber sheets and other low-surface-energy applications.
The acrylic adhesive creates a permanent bond and meets AAMA 711-13 Type A requirements without primer. This permanent adhesive flashing tape provides an alternative to asphalt and butyl tapes for applications requiring strong rubber adhesion, clean handling, and dependable seaming performance.
Nichigo G-Tape 3045 tears straight by hand without requiring a knife or scissors. The self-adhesive flashing tape can be repositioned during initial placement to reduce wrinkles, while face-to-face adhesive contact separates without damaging the adhesive if the tape accidentally folds onto itself.
G-Tape 3045 is rated for all-weather use from -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C). It meets AAMA 711-13 Type A without primer, Level 3 for exposure up to 176°F, and AC 148. The black tape is available in 2", 3", 4", 6", 9", and 12" widths, with each roll measuring 65' long.
