Product Information
Alpha® Nichigo G-Tape™ 3035 Series is a linerless, self-adhering flashing tape for exterior wall fenestration and sealing around window frames. This permanent adhesive flashing tape maintains its performance after prolonged exposure to sunlight and rain while eliminating the release liner used with conventional window flashing tape.
G-Tape 3035 can be used for seaming and splicing insulation sheets, house wraps, and wall boards. It also functions as waterproof deck flashing tape for outdoor rafters, allowing one self-adhesive tape to cover several exterior sealing and waterproofing applications.
The tape tears straight by hand without requiring a knife or scissors, while its linerless construction reduces installation steps and eliminates release-liner waste. Nichigo G-Tape 3035 is 50% to 70% lighter than conventional window tape, and adhesive surfaces that accidentally contact each other can be separated without damaging the adhesive.
The high-UV-resistance black substrate supports exterior use in prolonged sunlight and rain. G-Tape 3035 performs from -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C) and meets AAMA 711-13 Type A without primer, Level 3 for exposure up to 176°F, and AC 148. The black tape is available in 2", 3", and 4" widths, with each roll measuring 65' long.
