Product Information
Alpha® Guide Rails provide a straight, stable path for compatible Alpha carriage assemblies used in stone and countertop fabrication. The sturdy cast aluminum rails support controlled straight cutting, miter cutting, bevel grinding, edge grinding, and polishing on materials such as granite, marble, engineered stone, porcelain slabs, and glass.
The 4' guide rail is suited for short workpieces, vanity tops, jobsite countertop trimming, and side-edge finishing. The 7' rail covers intermediate fabrication lengths, while the 12' configuration provides the working range needed for long countertops, slabs, and conference tables.
The ASC-5CSM carriage connects the ESC-125 Wet/Dry Stone Cutter to the rail for controlled straight cuts. The ASC-6CSM carriage supports straight, left-miter, and right-miter cutting with the PSC-150 Pneumatic Stone Cutter. These tool-specific carriage assemblies allow the guide rail to remain positioned while the cutter is configured for the required cut.
When paired with the BAB-CASM Carriage Assembly and a compatible Alpha Beveling Auxiliary Base, the rails guide grinding, beveling, and polishing for straight edges, chamfers, and shaped profiles. The system can also guide miter grinding on thin porcelain panels up to 1/2" thick for laminated waterfall-edge preparation.
The rails are available individually in 4', 7', and 12' configurations or as the ASC-GRKIT bundle containing all three lengths. Each individual rail includes two clamps. The 12' rail consists of two 6' sections and also includes a connector and four screws, while the complete bundle includes six clamps, one connector, and four screws.
