Flexible Polyurethane Sealant for Concrete and Masonry
ZinsserĀ® WaterTiteĀ® Polyurethane Sealant is a high-performance, single-component, moisture-cured modified polyurethane sealant for filling deep cracks and holes and sealing moving joints. The low-modulus formula remains flexible over time while maintaining adhesion to help seal and waterproof the joint.
Expansion, Control and Construction Joint Sealing
WaterTite Polyurethane Sealant is designed for dynamically moving joints including expansion and control joints, precast concrete panel joints, tilt-up panel joints, curtain wall joints, and perimeter joints around windows, doors, and panels. It can be used in horizontal and vertical joint designs.
Concrete, Masonry and Exterior Applications
The sealant is suitable for concrete block, cast-in-place concrete, stucco, tilt-up concrete, exposed aggregate, and slump block. Applications include basement and cellar walls, fountains, reflecting pools, planters, canals, retaining walls, privacy fences, and other areas requiring a flexible waterproof seal.
Joint Width and Depth Requirements
Joint width should be four times the anticipated movement and no less than 1/4". For joints from 1/4" to 1/2" wide, the width and depth should be equal. Joints 1/2" wide or greater should have a 1/2" sealant depth. The minimum joint size is 1/4" Ć 1/4".
