Waterproof Shower Base for Custom Tile Installations
wedi® S-DRY™ Shower Bases provide a waterproof foundation for custom tiled showers with either a curb or curbless entry. Each base is made from a solid EPS foam core waterproofed with wedi S-DRY Membrane and arrives ready to integrate into the S-DRY Shower System.
Factory-Integrated Click and Seal Drain
Each shower base features a factory-integrated and waterproofed drain connection based on wedi® Fundo® Click and Seal® technology. Center and off-center drain configurations are available to accommodate different shower layouts. The finished drain cover is selected separately.
Cut-to-Size Installation for Custom Showers
S-DRY Shower Bases can be cut to size to accommodate the dimensions of the shower installation. The base unfolds for installation and is bonded directly to the subfloor with thinset mortar, providing a lightweight alternative to building a traditional mortar shower base.
Integrated S-DRY Waterproofing
The factory-applied S-DRY Membrane creates a waterproof surface that integrates with S-DRY wall and floor waterproofing. Seams and transitions can be completed with wedi S-DRY Tape and S-DRY SEAL to continue waterproofing throughout the shower assembly.
