Product Information
Alpha® Nichigo G-Tape™ 3045 Series is a single-sided, self-adhering flashing tape made with laminated polyethylene cloth and a proprietary acrylic adhesive. Designed for strong adhesion to rubber and other low surface energy applications, the 3045 Series provides high static shear for seaming rubber sheets, including EPDM rubber.
The proprietary acrylic adhesive creates a permanent bond and meets AAMA 711-13 Type A requirements without primer. The tape is a practical replacement for asphalt and butyl tapes where strong rubber adhesion, clean handling, and dependable flashing performance are required.
G-Tape 3045 Series tears straight by hand without a cutting tool and can be repositioned during installation to reduce wrinkles. Its scrap-less adhesive allows face-to-face adhesive contact to separate without damaging the adhesive, simplifying handling and placement on the jobsite.
The flashing tape is rated for all-weather use from -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C). It meets AAMA 711-13 Type A, Level 3 requirements for exposure up to 176°F and also meets AC 148. Six 65' roll widths are available from 2" through 12" for different seaming and flashing requirements.
