USG™ Durock® Liquid Waterproofing & Crack Isolation Membrane is a liquid-applied acrylic membrane designed for waterproofing, crack isolation, and vapor control beneath tile and stone installations. It is approved for floors, walls, wet areas, steam showers, and steam rooms.
The membrane protects against non-structural cracks up to 1/8", provides a permeance rating of 0.38 perms at 20 mils dry thickness, and changes color when cured. It can be applied by roller, brush, trowel, or sprayer and bonds to concrete, masonry, cement backerboard, gypsum-fiber panels, PVC, ABS, and other approved substrates.
