The wedi® Curbless Shower Recess Kit is a structural floor recess system designed to support flush installation of curbless shower bases up to 60" x 60". The kit is engineered for use with 3/4" thick plywood subfloors and creates a recessed area that allows the shower base to sit level with the surrounding floor while maintaining structural support.
The system uses a combination of metal joist brackets, C brackets, and fasteners to reinforce the recessed area between floor joists. Once installed, the recessed floor is ready to receive a wedi® Fundo® Curbless Shower Base.
