About This Product
Vapor-Tight Sealant for Steam Shower Assemblies
wedi® Sealant 620 is an SMP hybrid sealant designed to waterproof and vaporproof wedi® Subliner Dry assemblies, including steam shower installations. Its vapor-resistant formulation creates sealed connections between Subliner Dry waterproofing components.
Designed for Subliner Dry Membranes and Sealing Tape
The thinner-viscosity formula penetrates fabric membranes and is used with wedi® sealing tape to waterproof seams, overlaps, and fastener points. It is compatible with wedi® Subliner Dry mats, waterproof sealing tape, and inside and outside corner sealing tape.
Sealant Coverage and Installation Requirements
Allow approximately 2.5 oz. of Sealant 620 for every linear foot of wedi® sealing tape or Subliner Dry overlap seam. Sealant 620 must be reinforced with wedi® Subliner Dry sealing tape at seams and joints and is not intended for use as a standalone construction adhesive.
