Alpha Laser Core Bits are diamond core bits designed for wet or dry drilling of porcelain, sintered slabs, granite, quartz, engineered stone, marble, and other commonly used construction materials. Developed for handheld core drilling with high-speed angle grinders, these core bits support fast material penetration and clean hole formation for installation work.
Each core bit is laser welded to improve segment retention and heat resistance during demanding drilling applications. The aggressive diamond segment design supports faucet-mounting holes in countertops and vanities, plumbing penetrations, electrical conduit openings, and clean rounded corners for square or rectangular sink cutouts.
Alpha Laser Core Bits feature a 5/8"-11 threaded connection that fits most popular angle grinders. Select sizes are rated for wet-only use, while others support wet or dry operation. These core bits can also be paired with a core bit extension for use with hammer drills or rotary hammer drilling systems when required.
