How to Apply

• Preparation: Clean the surface well with HMK® R155 Intensive Cleaner, rinse with water, and let it dry for at least 24 hours. Make sure the surface is completely dry, with a maximum moisture of 2-4%. If using underfloor heating, turn it off and allow the surface to cool down.
• Application: Apply HMK® S234 generously with a natural bristle brush or HMK® Z950-Z951 brushes. Usually, two wet-on-wet applications are enough, but highly absorbent stones may need more.
• Removing Excess: Wipe away any extra product before it dries using a clean cloth with S234 or mineral spirits. For vertical surfaces, an airless sprayer can be used.
• Drying Time: Keep the surface undisturbed for 2-4 hours after treatment. Full protection against oil and water takes 48 hours, and keep it safe from rain and humidity for 12 hours.

Coverage

One liter covers approximately 50 to 220 square feet, depending on how porous and textured the stone is.

• Warning: This product is flammable. It contains a turpentine substitute. Keep away from heat and flames, and ensure good ventilation while using it. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; if exposed, rinse with water and seek medical help. Keep out of children's reach.
• Storage: Store in a cool place with the lid tightly closed. Avoid temperatures below 50°F or above 80°F.
