Application Instructions

Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly with HMK® R155 Intensive Cleaner, rinse with water, and allow at least 24 hours to dry. Ensure the surface is completely dry with a maximum residual moisture of 2-4%. If there’s underfloor heating, turn it off and let the surface cool to room temperature.

Application: Apply HMK® S234 generously with a natural bristle brush or HMK® Z950-Z951 brushes. Two wet-on-wet applications are usually sufficient, but more may be needed for highly absorbent stones.

Removal: Remove any excess product before it dries using a soft, clean cloth moistened with S234 or pure mineral spirits. For vertical surfaces, an airless sprayer can be used.

Drying Time: Allow the surface to remain untouched for 2-4 hours post-treatment. Full resistance to oil and water develops in 48 hours. Protect the treated surface from rain and humidity for 12 hours.

- Approximately 50 to 220 square feet per liter depending on the stone’s porosity and texture.

Warning: Flammable. Contains a turpentine substitute. Keep away from heat, sparks, and flames. Ensure adequate ventilation during use. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If exposure occurs, wash with water and seek medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.
