Alpha Twincur Resin Bond Polishing Discs are polishing pads designed for automatic edge polishing machines and wet polishing single-head machines that utilize a 4 inch snail lock adapter. The discs are engineered for square edge and beveled edge applications on granite and other hard stone materials.
The system is compatible with a wide range of edge polishing machines, including Park Pro Edge, Comandulli, Mantello, Thibault, Cavani, Denver, and similar imported machines, as well as multiple-head machines such as the Loffler KSL-RK series. Material edges up to 1-1/4 inch thick can be polished, and laminated double-stacked edges up to 1-1/2 inch can also be processed successfully.
The discs use a snail lock attachment for fast changeover during production and consistent positioning on the machine head. For best results, straight or beveled edges should be calibrated square using a metal grit prior to polishing. Final finishing can be completed using Alpha Twincur Final Polish to achieve a high-gloss surface.
