Alpha® Twincur Resin Bond Polishing Discs are designed for polishing square and beveled granite edges with automatic edge polishing machines. The resin bond abrasives deliver fast, consistent polishing performance while providing the durability needed for high-production stone fabrication.
Square and Beveled Granite Edge Polishing
Twincur Resin Bond discs can polish material edges up to 1-1/4" thick and double-stacked laminated edges up to 1-1/2". For best results, straight or beveled edges should first be calibrated square with a metal grit before progressing through the Twincur resin polishing sequence.
Snail Lock Compatibility for Fast Disc Changes
Each 4" disc uses the popular Snail Lock connection for quick abrasive changes during production. Twincur Resin Bond discs work with wet polishing single-head machines using a 4" Snail Lock adapter, including Park® Pro Edge, Comandulli, Mantello, Thibault, Cavani, Denver, and other compatible machines.
Single-Head and Multiple-Head Polishing Machines
The Twincur system is suitable for compatible single-head and multiple-head automatic edge polishing machines, including the Loffler KSL-RK series. Six resin grits from 100 through 3000 provide a progressive polishing sequence, and Alpha® Twincur Final Polish can be used after the resin sequence to produce a deep glossy finish.
