Alpha® Turboshine is a polishing and grinding system designed for seamless countertop installations, scratch removal, and surface restoration on natural and engineered stone. The system provides tooling for granite, engineered stone and quartz surfaces, including difficult marble applications such as green and black marble, with additional grinding options for crystallized glass and glass.
Dual Adapter System for Reduced Vibration
Turboshine rigid polishing discs use Alpha's Dual Adapter System to dramatically reduce vibration during operation while allowing the appropriate disc type and grit to be selected without changing the drive system. Faster transitions between grits help reduce downtime throughout multi-step polishing and restoration processes.
Rigid Polishing Discs from 100 Grit Through Buff
The 3" rigid disc sequence includes 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 grits followed by Black and White Buff options. The 2000 grit disc is specifically designed to help restore the original surface condition of engineered stone and quartz surfaces, while the Buff discs support final polishing within the Turboshine system.
Grinding Wheels for Stone and Glass Surfaces
Turboshine 3" grinding wheels provide 60 and 120 grit options for granite, engineered stone, crystallized glass, and glass. These wheels use a 5/8"-11 thread and have a maximum operating speed of 14,500 RPM, while the rigid polishing discs use the Dual Adapter System and are rated to a maximum of 4,000 RPM.
