Alpha Contour Blade is a curved cutting blade developed for granite sink cutouts and other radius cutting applications in stone fabrication. The blade is constructed with direct sintered diamond segments bonded to both sides of the steel core and along the peripheral cutting edge to support controlled curved cutting in dense materials.
The dual-sided diamond segment design allows the blade to create a wider kerf compared to standard continuous rim blades, improving maneuverability when following curved paths. Diamond segments positioned on the inside of the core help prevent undercutting, a common issue encountered when cutting tight radii and sink openings.
This curved cutting blade is commonly used for granite sinkholes, quartzite, engineered stone, and harder types of marble. It can be operated in wet or dry cutting conditions and is compatible with most common angle grinders and wet/dry stone cutters. The blade can also be used on CNC routers equipped with a cutting head.
