The GoBoard® Waterproofing Corner seals 90° inside and outside corner transitions in showers, wet rooms, and other tiled wet areas. It connects waterproofing materials across changes of plane to help maintain a continuous barrier behind the tile assembly.
Each corner piece can be cut along its marked lines to create either an inside or outside corner. This adaptable design allows installers to configure the accessory for the project while avoiding the wrinkles and excess material that can occur when folding straight waterproofing membrane.
The GoBoard Corner works with GoBoard Membrane, GoBoard, GoBoard Pro, and other approved tile substrates. It is compatible with modified or unmodified thin-set mortar and can also be embedded with GoBoard Sealant or GoBoard Pro Sealant when same-day flood testing is required.

Yes. Each GoBoard Corner can be cut to create either an inside or outside 90° configuration. This allows the same accessory to accommodate different corner transitions within a shower or wet-area layout without stocking separate products for each corner type.
It can be installed over GoBoard Membrane, GoBoard, GoBoard Pro, cement backer board, gypsum wallboard, plaster, brick, concrete block, concrete, mortar beds, and exterior-grade plywood. The substrate must support tile and be permitted by the selected bonding material.
Use polymer-modified thin-set mortar meeting ANSI A118.4 or dry-set mortar meeting ANSI A118.1. GoBoard Sealant or GoBoard Pro Sealant can replace thin-set for the corner when same-day flood testing is required. Follow the current instructions for application and coverage.
Maintain at least 2 inches of overlap wherever the corner meets GoBoard Membrane, banding, curb covers, or adjacent waterproofing accessories. The corner may be trimmed as needed, but the required overlap must remain intact to create a properly connected waterproof joint.
Yes. Same-day flood testing is possible when GoBoard Sealant or GoBoard Pro Sealant is used in place of thin-set mortar and the corner is fully embedded according to the installation guide. Every area exposed during testing must be completely sealed before the flood test begins.
Each package contains two GoBoard Corner pieces. Each piece can be configured as an inside or outside 90° corner based on the required cut. GoBoard Membrane, banding, thin-set mortar, sealant, and other waterproofing accessories are selected separately for the complete installation.
