About This Product

Granite Polishing Pad for Final Gloss

Alpha® Ceramica Buff is a flexible wet polishing pad used after the standard granite polishing sequence to deepen color and produce a high-gloss final finish. The heat-compressed polishing disc combines tin oxide and aluminum oxide powders with natural fiber, eliminating the need to apply separate chemical polishing compounds.

Black and White Polish Pad Options

Black Ceramica Buff pads are designed for dark stone, including black granites such as Black Pearl, while White pads are intended for light-colored granite. When appropriate, the Black and White pads can be used sequentially to produce an especially high-gloss finish.

Low-Water Wet Polishing

Ceramica Buff requires only a small amount of water during final polishing. Its hook-and-loop backing attaches to compatible handheld wet polishing equipment, and Alpha recommends using a flexible backer pad to help develop the heat needed to enhance gloss and color.

3", 4" and 5" Polishing Discs

The granite polishing pad is available in 3", 4", and 5" diameters, with Black and White versions offered in every size. Each polishing disc has a maximum operating speed of 4,000 RPM.
