wedi® Shower Niche Shelves are premium shelf options for 12" shower niches. Available in clear tempered glass, matte black anodized aluminum, and brushed 304 stainless steel, the shelves provide three finish options for coordinating with drain covers, shower fixtures, and other finishes.
Glass, Matte Black and Brushed Stainless Steel Options
The glass shelf is made from 3/8" low-iron, fully tempered clear safety glass with a pencil-polished edge. The matte black shelf is made from 1/8" anodized aluminum, while the stainless steel shelf uses 1/8" brushed 304 stainless steel.
Installation in 12" Shower Niches
Each shelf measures 11-7/8" × 3-1/2" and can rest on the vertical tile installed along the sides and back of the niche. Clear silicone or grout-color-matching expansion joint sealant should be used between the shelf and tile.
