wedi Fundo Curbless Shower Kits provide coordinated waterproofing components for constructing tiled showers with a curb-free entrance. Each kit centers on a strong, pre-sloped Fundo shower base designed to integrate with the surrounding bathroom floor through proper subfloor preparation.
The shower base provides a consistent slope toward the selected center or off-center drain location, eliminating the need to form a traditional mortar-bed slope. The included Fundo Click and Seal drain unit uses a mechanical compression connection with compatible 2" PVC, ABS, or cast-iron waste pipes.
wedi Building Panels cover one long wall and two short walls up to 80" high. The included 53 sq. ft. S-DRY membrane and outside corners extend waterproofing beyond the shower base, while the mixing valve collar and pipe seal address common plumbing penetrations through the walls.
Seven configurations cover footprints from 36" x 48" through 48" x 72". Most models use a center drain, while the 36" x 60" size is also available with an off-center drain. This selection helps installers match the shower system to the planned enclosure and plumbing arrangement.

Each kit includes a pre-sloped Fundo Curbless shower base, Building Panels for three walls, Click and Seal drain unit, 53 sq. ft. of S-DRY membrane, outside corners, a 100-count fastener kit, corner putty knife, mixing valve collar, and pipe seal.
Seven configurations are available: 36" x 48" center, 36" x 60" center, 36" x 60" off-center, 42" x 42" center, 48" x 48" center, 48" x 60" center, and 48" x 72" center. Choose the footprint and drain location that match the framing and plumbing plan.
The pre-sloped Fundo Curbless base is typically recessed into the subfloor so its perimeter aligns with the adjoining bathroom floor. Proper framing, subfloor preparation, and waterproofing create the curb-free transition. wedi also offers a separate recess installation kit for suitable wood-framed floors.
The wedi Fundo drain cover, S-DRY SEAL, and wedi Joint Sealant are sold separately. These products should be selected before installation so the drain finish, membrane connections, panel seams, fasteners, and other required waterproofing transitions can be completed according to wedi instructions.
The included Fundo Click and Seal drain unit uses a mechanical compression connection with compatible 2" PVC, ABS, or cast-iron floor waste pipes. The drain connection itself does not require glue or sealant. Plumbing placement and the completed connection must still follow wedi instructions and applicable codes.
wedi states that the pre-sloped surface can accept square tile as small as 2" x 2" as well as large-format tile. Select a compatible cement-based or epoxy-based tile adhesive intended for wet areas and follow wedi requirements for the selected tile and installation conditions.

Yes. wedi allows the shower base to be cut to size, but the perimeter channel may need to be recreated and the drain must remain properly aligned with the waste pipe. Follow the wedi installation manual or obtain project-specific guidance before altering the base.
