About This Product
High-Gloss Metallic Garage Floor Coating
Rust-Oleum® RockSolid® Metallic Garage Floor Coating Kit is a Polycuramine floor coating designed for properly prepared concrete floors. The 96% solids formula creates a high-gloss metallic finish with excellent hardness, adhesion, and durability while providing self-leveling properties for a smooth finished surface.
Resistance to Chemicals and Garage Floor Wear
The cured coating provides excellent resistance to salt, oil, gasoline, and other harsh chemicals commonly encountered on garage floors. Performance testing includes a Shore D hardness of 90, greater than 95 gloss at 60°, and a passing result in ASTM D1737 flexibility testing.
Fast-Curing Polycuramine with Extended Recoat Window
The Polycuramine system combines self-leveling, flexibility, and fast curing with a longer pot life than typical 100% solids epoxies. A 7-day recoat window allows another coat to be applied without sanding, providing additional flexibility when completing multi-coat floor installations.
Low-Odor, VOC-Free Indoor Application
The low-odor, VOC-free formulation can be applied indoors and uses an Easy Mix two-part Burst Pouch for mixing. Each kit covers approximately 100–125 sq. ft. depending on surface conditions and application.
Complete Kit for Properly Prepared Concrete Floors
Each kit includes a Polycuramine Burst Pouch, concrete etch, 3/8" nap microfiber roller cover, and instructions. A roller frame, extension pole, paint brush, and stiff-bristled broom or scrub brush are required separately for application.
