Product Information
RUBI® ECD Cut & Roughing Electrodeposited Diamond Blades combine cutting and roughing functions in a single blade. They are designed for dry cutting, grinding, edge adjustment, and finishing of ceramic tile, natural stone, and synthetic materials with an angle grinder.
The ECD blade combines the cutting quality of a continuous rim with the smooth roughing performance of an electrodeposited diamond surface. This design reduces vibration during dry cutting, making it well suited for materials with a higher risk of breakage.
Diamond is applied to both sides of the blade for roughing and edge-finishing work. The blade can be turned over after one side is worn, allowing both diamond-coated surfaces to be used for grinding applications.
Common Questions
The ECD blade is designed for ceramic tile, natural stone, and synthetic materials.
Yes. The ECD is a two-in-one diamond blade designed for cutting as well as roughing, grinding, edge adjustment, and finishing.
The ECD blade is designed for dry cutting with an angle grinder.
The double-sided diamond surface allows both sides of the blade to be used for roughing and edge-finishing work. The blade can be turned over after one side becomes worn.
Yes. Its electrodeposited diamond design reduces vibration during dry cutting, which is useful when working with materials that have a higher risk of breakage.
Both the 4-1/2" and 5" ECD blades have a 5/8" arbor.
