BARWALT® Ultrabite⢠Tile Nippers use precision-finished carbide cutting surfaces to cut porcelain tile with less compressive force. The carbide is ground with industrial diamonds to produce a precise cutting edge for controlled tile nipping and shaping.
The Ultrabite⢠design requires only one-third of the compressive force to cut through porcelain tile compared with conventional nipping force requirements stated by BARWALT. Reducing the force required at the handles gives the installer greater control while making incremental cuts and shaping tile.
Over-molded cushioned handle sleeves provide a secure grip and are designed to remain attached during use. A stainless steel bearing resists rust and requires less oiling, supporting smooth operation and reduced maintenance over the life of the tool.
This 70316 model is the original non-radius version of the Ultrabite⢠Tile Nippers. Unlike the Radius model with its curved cutting edge for corners and additional configurations, the original model uses the standard Ultrabite cutting design for controlled porcelain tile nipping.
