The Alpha® Twincur SFAT-5/8 Snail Lock Adapter connects compatible Snail Lock polishing wheels, discs, backers, and brush wheels to polishing tools with a 5/8"-11 spindle. The adapter threads onto the polisher and creates a secure 5" Snail Lock mounting interface for compatible accessories.
Quick-Change Snail Lock Connection
Compatible accessories attach to the adapter through the Snail Lock connection and can be removed without repeatedly threading each accessory onto and off the polishing tool. The adapter can remain installed while different wheels, discs, or backers are exchanged between polishing stages.
Hook-and-Loop Polishing Pad Compatibility
The separate Alpha Hook & Loop Backed Snail Lock Adapter attaches to the SFAT-5/8 and provides a hook-and-loop face for compatible polishing pads. This configuration allows hook-and-loop pads to be used on a polisher through the Twincur Snail Lock system.
