About This Product

Dry Polishing for Marble Edges and Profiles

Alpha® PVA MS Dry Polishing Discs are formulated for polishing marble edges without the water and mess associated with wet polishing. The system works on baseboards, corners, countertop edges, contours, chamfers, bead molding, curved profiles, and other irregular surfaces, making it suitable for both fabrication and jobsite touch-ups.

Silicon Carbide Abrasive with PVA Bond

Each 4" disc combines silicon carbide abrasive with a polyvinyl alcohol bond for fast material removal, long service life, and consistent polishing performance. Color-coded grits range from 40 Extra Coarse through 600 Extra Fine, allowing users to progress from aggressive surface work through fine polishing with easy grit identification.

High-Speed Grinder Compatibility

The 4" discs have a 5/8" arbor and a maximum operating speed of 12,000 RPM for use with compatible high-speed grinders. The PVA material is resistant to clogging and can also be used on ceramic, wood, and metal edges, while the 4" discs are suitable for paint removal.

Contour Polishing and Stainless Steel Finishing

The flexible PVA system works effectively across contours, profiled edges, and rounded or irregular surfaces where rigid polishing products can be difficult to use. In addition to marble finishing, PVA MS can polish stainless steel to a mirror-like finish and works well in conjunction with Alpha Marble Profile Wheels.
