The Alpha® PSC-600 is a high-performance pneumatic stone cutter for wet cutting in stone fabrication shops. Its compact grinder-style design accepts cutting discs up to 6" in diameter and operates at 8,500 RPM, providing a maneuverable alternative to electric angle grinders for stone cutting applications.
Central Water Feed for Wet Cutting
A central water-feed system delivers water to both sides of the diamond blade regardless of tool position. The continuous water supply controls airborne dust during cutting while supporting diamond blade performance and service life.
Lightweight Design and Operator Control
At 2.9 lbs and 7-1/2" long, the PSC-600 is compact and lightweight for maneuverability during fabrication work. A spring-return throttle helps prevent accidental startup, while the composite end case and silicone gear head cover reduce cold transfer to the operator's hands. A reversible side handle provides additional control and positioning options.
All-Weather Air and Water Connections
The cutter includes separate 15 ft. air and water hoses that remain flexible from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C). A water quick coupler with shut-off valve simplifies water control at the tool, while the rear exhaust system directs exhaust away from the work area. The PSC-600 can also be configured for grinding applications using the included grinding flange.
