The Alpha® Katana is a professional diamond blade built for dry cutting across a wide range of tile and stone materials. Its hybrid design cuts porcelain, granite, marble, engineered stone, and glazed ceramic tile, allowing installers to use one blade across jobs involving multiple materials.
Clean Cutting on Porcelain and Sintered Slabs
The Katana is specially designed for hard porcelain tile and sintered slabs, with a 1.4 mm blade thickness across all available sizes. The blade is designed to produce dry cuts with minimal chipping and is also suited for cutting porcelain paver tiles.
Wet or Dry Cutting with Stone Cutters and Angle Grinders
Each Katana blade is compatible with stone cutters and popular high-speed angle grinders, with arbor configurations varying by blade size. The blade can be operated dry for convenient tile cutting or used wet to reduce airborne dust and extend blade life.
Compatible with the Alpha Ecocutter Dry Cutting System
The Katana can be paired with an Alpha® Wet Stone Cutter or the Alpha® Ecocutter Dry Tile Cutting System. When used with the Ecocutter system, the blade supports dry tile cutting with dust collection for applications where water-fed cutting is not preferred.
